Residential Roof Replacement in Gainesville, Georgia

In July 2024, we inspected this roof for a homeowner in Gainesville, Georgia. During our inspection, we identified storm damage to the roof of the home as well as damage to the roof of their shed. We assisted the homeowner in filing a successful insurance claim with USAA, which covered the repairs. After removing the old roofing materials, we installed new GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in Pewter on both the main roof and the shed. The project also included installing GAF Ridge Cap shingles, Felt Buster underlayment, Cobra Continuous Ridge Ventilation, and Weatherwatch leak barriers around roof penetrations and in valleys. We replaced damaged roof decking, added new pipe flashings, black-colored drip edges, and necessary step flashing, and painted all roof hardware to match. Throughout the process, we took care to protect the landscaping, pool, and deck, and completed a thorough clean-up. The homeowner received a 5-year workmanship warranty for steep slopes, along with the GAF Gold Warranty for added peace of mind. Additionally, gutter work was completed as per the insurance scope, and the homeowner authorized a full gutter system upgrade, including the addition of gutter guards.
