Douglas Construction recently completed a roof replacement in Alpharetta, GA, after discovering storm damage caused by a recent hailstorm. We helped the homeowner secure approval for the replacement through their State Farm insurance. The project included removing the old roofing and installing new GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in Barkwood, along with ridge cap shingles, Cobra ridge ventilation, synthetic felt, and a leak barrier. Damaged decking, step flashing, and pipe flashings were replaced, and new drip edges were added. Additionally, we installed new gutters, downspouts, and gutter guards.

The homeowner received a GAF Golden Pledge warranty, which includes a lifetime, non-prorated warranty and a 25-year workmanship warranty, backed by GAF. We managed the insurance process and worked directly with State Farm to ensure full approval for the replacement.
